Well, from what I understand about human society for well over six hundred years, they love seeing parents out and about with their progeny. It helps with getting a social standing amongst other parents as well as creating a social network for when you need time to yourself. I'm still getting use to this concept, I was raised communally with my batch siblings and used to having caregivers with an overseer rather than a parent.
